Fort Scott is an enviable distribution location.  Four-lane freeway US 69 directly connects Fort Scott to Kansas City (I-35, I-70 and I-29).  US 69 South connects with US 400 and I-44.  US 54 East crosses to Missouri and US 54 West reaches Wichita and beyond.

The Fort Scott Industrial Park is a developed industrial park with all utilities. This attractive park is designed to provide the client with acreage tailored to meet their needs.


Approximately 10 trucking companies, two with terminals, serve the Fort Scott/ Bourbon County Area. Package delivery services includes both ground and air firms.

Just 4 miles from the Industrial Park is the Fort Scott Municipal Airport with a lighted 4,400 foot asphalt runway with an AWOS system. Fuel sales, a modern terminal and a courtesy car are available.

The Burlington Northern and Sante Fe Railroad serves Fort Scott/Bourbon County. Reciprocal Switching is available and piggyback service is only 30 miles away.


All utilities have been extended into the Park and there are no special assessments pending at this time.

Water and Sewer are supplied by the City of Fort Scott.

Solid waste disposal is provided through contracts with private carriers.
